The goal was a containerized deployment target on ECS with a CI/CD pipeline automating the path from commit to running service.
What I Did
Moved deployments onto ECS with a fully automated release pipeline.
- Containerized the application and defined ECS task/service configuration
- Built a CI/CD pipeline to build images, run tests, and deploy to ECS on merge
- Set up rolling deployments to avoid downtime during releases
- Documented the deployment process for the team to operate independently
